Christmas Time - part 1 xmas and travels

We had a very busy Christmas! After 2 days straight of baking cookies for the cookie boxes I do every year, we went to my brother Dale's for Christmas Eve and then spent Christmas Day with my WHOLE family at my brother Kevin's. It was the first time in a long time all of us have been together so of course we had to take the obligatory family photo! I think there were 21 of us.

On boxing Day we got up bright and early, packed up the car and headed to Penticton. We hoped the roads would be kind to us. It was actually a beautiful day (the bad storm had rolled through on xmas day) We decided to stop in Manning Park for a leg stretch and a pee, we never actually stop at the area where the lodge is but it was beautiful (nice bathrooms too!)

We think we have a lot of snow in Vancouver - ha!

That is actually a wooden bear I'm standing by.The icicles are coming down from the roof and the snow has built up so much it almost touches the roof!!
