London Day 3 - Hyde Park

It was a beatiful fall day so we thought we would spend the afternoon in Hyde park. We have been there before but on for a short walk. So we wandered around and checked out the Serpintine and just enjoyed the sunshine.
Addison started sticking out his tongue when it is windy - it was so funny cause since it was pretty windy that day he had his tongue out most of the time he was awake.

our London Hotel - the Regency

It was kinda strange for Chris and I to actually stay in such a nice hotel while travelling (since i worked one of the days in London it was taken care of by my company) So we took advantage of having a nice place to rest and had Addison tucked in for bed early so that we could get him on London time.

Our only planned dinner out - Fifteen, London

Here we are at Fifteen - a beautiful restuarant created by Jamie Oliver. This is me and Addison - who was very happy only moments before his only "episode" while we were travelling. He freaked out!! So Chris and I took shifts trying to calm him in the bathroom while the other ate their really yummy dinner. Then we left - no dessert! Let's just say the "episode" involved a very full diaper!

on the Tube

Here we are cruising around on the tube. We stayed for 3 nights in South Kensington and went to various touristy stuff including the Victoria and Albert museum (we hadn't been to that one yet) and for the first time we went to Harrod's (it was CRAZY).

Addison's first plane ride

Since it was a night flight Addison slept for most of the time - even though Chris and i didn't get much sleep (we don't usually sleep that well on planes anyway) it was nice that Addison was content. Take off and landing didn't bother him at all and he sure loved chatting with his seat neighbours!

packing for England

This is how I got most of our packing done - Addsion was amused by the piles of clothes by the suitcase and then when it was nap time he could just fall asleep in his sling.
