We had a good look at the goats and cows in the barn at the cheese shop. Then off to the pottery shop and coffee roaster where Addison could do some "plowing"








We had a lovely visit with Michelle and John baby Zac for the first time! Of course Addison wanted to be right in there with the baby!!

It is soo yummy - I brought a box home from Australia and had to take a photo to make sure I remember what kind it is!

Way too much fun was had by all! Every year there is a piñata that the kids go crazy on - this year was no different and it was the first time Addison could have a crack at it. Murray and Chris gave it their best shot along with all of the other kids. In the end Chris "volunteered" to break it open.












Addison was very pleased with his little bag of treats.

Baking raisin oatmeal cookies for the Montgomery boys

We were going to Chris and Murray's birthday party so I asked Addison what he thought they might like for their birthday. His answer was "some raisins", so we improvised and baked cookies for them instead.

Addison ground the spices and help put in all of the ingredients, then mixed it up and put them on the cookie sheet.

Rodney took Chris and Addison out for a paddle in the canoe.


Then it was time to head back home on the ferry.

We were on Bowen to visit Katherine and Rodney (and I think to do the Midlyn worm compost for Spring) Meaghan, Peter and Brianna were also there so the kids had lots of fun!
Of course we spent alot of time at the beach - we found baby crabs.
