Oregon Coast - a hike and a waterfall.

My fine trip planning had us stopping for a nice hike up to a beautiful waterfall.

Oregon Coast - Tillamook

Tillamook was the place to stop to say "cheese"!! The factory was huge and you could tell the workers love visitors - they were really great and waved to the kids. I loved the old advertisements and we all loved the cheese samples.

Oregon Coast - and we were off in our rental mini Van down Hwy 101

Cannon Beach was our first stop and the wild coast welcomed us with some fierce rain. Haystack was spectacular (when we could see it through the the pelting rain and fog).

Our "tour guide" Ben napped through some of the most scenic parts of the trip but he sure could navigate.

Haystack - we will have to return here another time and hopefully the weather will be better. The beach was gorgeous.

Addison braved the rain - Catina and Randal didn't get out of the van!

But it was cooooold.

We were soaked in about 45 seconds, right down to our undies!

Many great beaches along the way but the rain most of the morning.
