Mushroom Studios - recording with Ryan

Our friend Ryan (who goes by the name Winston) was recording at Mushroon studios over the holidays and we were invited to "sing" as part of a "gang chorus". We had so much fun and it was such a fantastic opportunity! You probably won't really be able to hear us on the final cut but it is still totally cool!

Chris and I tried not to sing too loud! It was really interesting hearing the actual song in the headphones and not really being able to hear yourself singing along with the chorus.

This is Dr Boss - he was the head engineer/mixer guy who did all of the hard work while we just had fun!

And just in case you didn't know Mushroom Studios is FAMOUS - many many artists have recorded there including Sarah McLachlan, Odds, 54-40, Spirit of the West and many others including a song (or two?) for the Top Gun soundtrack- how cool is that!

Christmas Time part 2

Here is part of the Fraser family, very similar to my family, it is very rare that everyone can get together at Christmas. And the infamous Alex is missing from this photo because she just didn't want to be in it!! You have to forgive her "she's only little"

I love this photo of my 2 sister in laws, Amber and Ashley. The were having the best laugh ever cause they were trying to take a good photo of themselves with a cell phone.

We came home on the 29th - it too was a nice drive and the weather was nice.

This was our Christmas tree!!
