Riefel Bird Sanctuary - Mar 8

Chris and I decided to go on another Lower Mainland adventure - so off to the Riefel Bird Sanctuary we went. It is just outside of Ladner. Not sure why I agreed to go - i don't even like birds!! But it was a beautiful sunny spring day and the scenary was amazing. We saw tons of birds on our lovely walk, but these cranes were totally cool and we got to get up close and personal with them. Check out those red eyes!!
We decided we should design and sell a t-shirt that says "I like birds" for all those bird types that were there - they sure get excited about birds! Pass the binoculars...

Canucks were on a roll!

We have been really lucky this year to catch a few of the Canucks games at GM Place. This was the Canucks vs the Red Wings - an awesome game. we won!!
