Handywoman - that's me!

SO we wake up the morning of the 30th to go to Lisa's tobagganing party and in the hallway it smells like something kinda buring, like chemicals. So we sniff around... and the smell is coming from the thermostat. So we sort of debate what to do and I decide to call Walter for some expert advice, he said we most likely had to replace the thermostat. So off to Home Depot we went! After finding a new thermostat and a meter that tests whether or not the electricity is on (and turnig off the breaker!) I changed the thermostat while Chris took the supervisor role (him being more experienced after putting in our bathroom light dimmer). So we ended up not being able to go tobaganning but went to the party afterwards.
